I love Meijer!!!

I am ridiculously excited that Richmond is getting a Meijer!!!  But, the sales this week are so good I drove to Lexington to take advantage of the great prices.

Retail Value:  127.21
I paid:  33.63

That is a savings of almost 73%!  And, Meijer doesn't have inflated prices to begin with, so that is pretty good.  Also, the really crazy thing is that if I had been paying attention more to my counting and hadn't left a couple coupons in my binder I could have saved $7 more!  But, shopping w/ 2 babies what are ya gonna do?  And, I paid full price ($2.65) for a pack of Oreos.  Yeah, that end display totally sold me because it was definitely an impulse buy.

Anyway, here are some of the highlights:

All Laundry Detergent (64 loads) and Snuggle dryer sheets (80 count)= $1.99 for BOTH;
2 liter 7-UP, FREE
Green Giant Steamers, FREE
Softsoap, FREE
Betty Crocker boxed potatoes $.20 each
Country Crock 15 oz. tub, $.20 each
T.G.I.Friday's any-tizer snacks, $.50 each! (these are on "sale" at Wal-mart this week for $3.12)
Ronzoni Smart Taste Pasta $.25 each
Fleishmann's and Parkay sticks, $.50 each
Ziploc bags--Better than FREE (moneymaker) after coupons and catalina.
Old Orchard frozen concentrate juice, $.75 each.
Tyson Chicken Breast $4.99
Strawberries, $1.00
Dole Salad blends, $1.00

A lot of these coupons were printable (and the ziploc bags are a GREAT deal anyway...they are on sale $10 for $10 and if you buy 3 you can get a $2.00 on your next order, so you essentially get 3 for $1.00-you can check out twice and use the $2 right away, you don't have to come back another day.

If you're interested, go HERE to see the complete list of sales and links to coupons you can print to go with them.  This doesn't list the ziploc deal, but those ARE on sale at the Lexington Meijer.  They are sliders and are on an end display.  The fine print on the $10 for $10 tags they are marked with says "Meijer" bags, but I scanned them and sure enough, $1.
